Patient Information

Press the Patient key on the keyboardkey and then the Patient Information screen will be displayed.

This screen allows you to enter, search or change patient information. Patient information includes basic

information, such as patient ID, name, DOB and gender, and additional information for applications.

NOTE: ID and Name are required ﬁelds.

Entering Basic Patient Information

Enter or change patient information at the top of the Patient Information screen.

Use the trackball and the Set button to select a eld. Or, use the Ext. Menu dial-button to move to another

eld.



Enter the patient ID.



To enter the patient ID manually, enter it directly into the ID eld.



To enter the patient ID automatically, click Auto ID Creation and then New. The icon will change



If a duplicate ID is entered, the icon next to the ID eld changes to .



Name

Enter the patient’s full name.



Last (Family): Enter the patient’s last name.



▶

First (Given): Enter the patient’s rst name.



▶

Middle: Enter the patient’s middle name.

The name that you enter here will appear in the title area and reports.



■

Birth

Enter the patient’s birth date in the specied format.
