Power Doppler Mode
This mode shows the power of the blood ow in the ROI within the 2D image.
This is useful for examining the presence/absence of blood ow or the amount of blood ow. A 2D image
is also displayed, so that you can view or change the position of the ROI within the image.

Entering and Exiting PD Mode
Press the PD button. Press the button again to exit PD Mode and return to 2D Mode.

Color Bar
The color bar changes according to the Power Doppler Mode screen display method you select
from the PD Mode soft menu.
X PD Mode: The color bar indicates the presence/absence and the amount of blood ow. The
color of the color bar is brighter towards the top portion. A brighter color indicates a greater
amount of blood ow.
