3D StandBy Soft Menu
NOTE:
When using standard probes, only Scan Mode, View Mode, and Load Preset are shown on the
menu.

Scan Mode
Select a 3D mode to use. Select 2D/3D or 4D with the dial-button.
When standard probes are used, only 2D/3D can be selected.
■
View Mode
After obtaining a 3D or 4D image, set a view mode. Select MPR, MSV, or Oblique View with the dial-
button. When using standard probes, only MPR can be used.
NOTE: MSV and Oblique View are part of the optional 3D XI. For more information on MSV and
Oblique View, see ‘3D XI’.
X MPR: This refers to a standard 3D mode. MPR stands for Multi-Planar Rendering.
X MSV: This is a type of 3D XI. MSV stands for Multi-Slice View.
X Oblique View: This is a type of 3D XI.

Scan Angle
Adjust the scanning angle with the dial-button. The angle adjusted varies depending on the probes
used.

Scan Quality
Set the scanning speed. Select Slow, Normal, Fast, or Fastest with the dial-button.
X Fastest: The image quality is low but the 3D image speed (or rendering speed) is fast.
X Fast: The image quality is better than Fastest but the speed is slower.
X Normal: The image quality is better than Fast but the speed is slower.
X Slow: The image quality is excellent. It is used to obtain detailed images.
