Battery Pack
Before using the battery, you should read and understand the following warnings and cautions.
WARNING:

Maintain the battery pack at the proper temperature when charging, discharging, and storing.
For more detailed information about temperature ranges, please refer to Chapter 8, “Maintenance
and Storage.”

When connecting the battery pack, please pay attention to the direction of positive and
negative terminals. If connected in the wrong direction, a short circuit can occur.
X
Be careful not to allow any metal to touch the terminals of the battery pack.
X
Do not disassemble or modify the battery pack.
X
Do not heat or burn the battery pack.
X
Do not store or use the battery pack in hot locations such as near heaters or fire. Especially, make
sure that it is not exposed to a high temperature of 60 degrees Celsius or higher.

Do not place the battery pack in direct sunlight.
X
Do not handle the battery pack with sharp objects.
X
Do not impact or step on the battery pack.
X
Do not use damaged battery pack.
X
Do not solder or repair the battery pack.
X
Do not directly connect the battery pack to an electric outlet.
X
If you do not use MySono U5 for more than a month, you must separate the battery pack from
the product and store it.
CAUTION:
Explosion, ignition, or burning of the battery pack can damage the product. For more information
regarding this, please note the following precautions:

Do not soak the battery pack in water or get it wet.
X
Do not put the battery pack in an electronic oven or a pressure vessel.
X
When liquids leak from the battery pack, or it smells or radiates heat, do not store it or use it in a
place near combustible materials.
X
Do not use the battery pack when unusual conditions are detected such as odor, heat,
deformations, or discoloring.
