Chapter 1 Safety
Indication for Use
The MySono U5 Diagnostic Ultrasound System and transducers are intended for diagnostic ultrasound
imaging and uid analysis of the human body.
The clinical applications include: Fetal, Abdominal, Pediatric, Small Organs, Adult Cephalic, Trans-
rectal, Trans-vaginal, Muscular-Skeletal (conventional, supercial), Cardiac Adult, Cardiac Pediatric and
Peripheral-vessel.
Contraindications
The MySono U5 system is not intended for ophthalmic use or any use causing the acoustic beam to pass
through the eye.
