Biopsy
In the Utility menu, select Biopsy.
NOTE: Biopsy is not available for phased array probes.
Setting a Biopsy Guideline
For accurate examination, you should set a biopsy guideline before performing a biopsy.
NOTE:
X
A biopsy guideline cannot be set when the trapezoidal function is enabled for linear probes.
X
Biopsy guidelines return to the default setting when the system is rebooted.
1. Press Edit. A warning message will appear.
2. Select Ok. A screen will be displayed allowing you to set a biopsy guideline.
3. Use the trackball and the Set button to set the guideline.
4. Click Save to save the setting. A conrmation message will appear.
X Click Edit to set a new biopsy guideline.
5. In the message box, click Ok to apply the guideline setting. Click Cancel to cancel.
