Display Mode

Set how Color Doppler Mode is displayed. Select Color + B/W, Color Only, or B/W Only with the

dial-button.

■

Color Mode

Set the contents that are displayed in color. Select Velocity, Power, Variance, or Vel + Var with the

dial-button. When Velocity or Vel + Var are selected, numbers will be displayed above and below the

color bar, indicating the color scale values. When Variance is selected, +1 and -1 will be displayed. If

Power is selected, no numbers will be displayed.

Density

Set the scan line density. Use the dial-button to select Medium, High or Low.

Selecting High will increase the number of scan lines and therefore increase the image resolution.

Note that the frame rate will drop.

Baseline

Move the baseline on the color bar. Turn the dial-button clockwise to raise the baseline on the color

bar.

When the display method for Color Mode is set to Variance, the baseline cannot be adjusted.

Filter

Press the dial-button to turn it on or o. When on, low-frequency Doppler signals from the

movement of the vessel walls are removed.

■

Power

Power is the intensity of the acoustic output. Select a value between 10 and 100 with the dial-

button.

■

Multi Frequency

Adjust the frequency within the ROI box. Select Pen or Gen with the dial-button.
