Simultaneous
NOTE: This will appear on the PW menu only when Utility > Setup > General > Simultaneous
Mode is set to Allow.
Press the dial-button to turn it on or o. When on, the 2D and Spectral Doppler images can be
observed simultaneously in real time. When turned o, however, only one or other of the images
can be observed.
Using the Simultaneous function drops the Doppler PRF, which reduces the measurement range
for speed.

Angle (10 Steps)
Turn the dial-button to rotate the image. Using this, you can rotate the image in greater steps than
when using the Angle dial-button on the control panel.

Angle (60 Steps)
NOTE: Angle (60 Steps) is available for use with specific probes only.
Press the dial-button to rotate the image. Using this, you can rotate the image in greater steps than
when using the Angle dial-button on the control panel.
■
SV Size
Resize the Sample Volume. Select a value between 0.5 and 15 with the dial-button. SV stands for
Sample Volume.
■
Auto Calc Direction
Use Auto Calc in Spectrum to set the area to calculate. Press the dial-button to select Up, Down, or
All.

Auto Calc
Press the dial-button to turn it on or o. When it is turned on, Doppler spectrum is automatically
traced and preset items are measured. Mean Trace also becomes enabled.
Items measured are as follows. For information on setting measurement items, see ‘Auto Calc’ in
Chapter 7. ‘Utilities’.
