Exiting Basic Measurements

Press the Exit button.

NOTE: Select Utility > Measure Setup > General to change settings including the measurement

units. For more information, see Chapter 7. “Utilities.”

Distance Measurements

Distance

This is a basic measurement available in all diagnosis modes. You can specify two points in a 2D image

and measure the straight line distance between them.

1. Press the Caliper button and select Distance in soft menu [1]. “Distance” is displayed in the user

information area.

2. Use the trackball and the Set button to specify both the end points of the measurement area.

X Use the trackball to place the cursor at the desired position and press the Set button.

Tips!

Tips on Resetting Point Position

Instead of pressing the Set button to conﬁrm the point position, you can press the Change button

to reset it.

3. Specify both end points and then the distance between them will be measured.

4. Once measurement is taken, the result is displayed on the screen.

Line Trace

This is a basic measurement available in all diagnosis modes. You can specify a point in a 2D image and

trace a curve from that point to measure the distance.

1. Press the Caliper button and select Line Trace in soft menu [1]. “Line Trace” is displayed in the

user information area.

2. Use the trackball and the Set button to specify the start point of the measurement area.

X Use the trackball to place the cursor at the desired position and press the Set button.
