Chapter 5 Measurements and Calculations

Auto Trace
This is a basic measurement that is only available in Spectral Doppler mode. When measurement
starts, the system traces a spectrum automatically. You can calculate the mean blood ow velocity, RI,
and Pulsatility Index (PI).
1. Select Auto Trace from the touch screen’s soft menu.
2. The system traces a spectrum automatically.
3. You can redene the measurement range by adjusting the two bars generated at the ends of the
Spectral Doppler image.
4. When the measurement is nished, its result is shown on the screen.
