Calculations by Application

Press the Calculator button on the control panel.

Things to note

▐ Before Taking Measurements

 Please ensure that the information for the current patient is correct. When the patient is

not registered, press the Patient button on the control panel to register the patient.

 Ensure that the probe and application displayed in the title area are the ones that you

want to use. If needed, press the Probe button to change the probe, application or

preset.

▐ Measurement Operations

The following gives information on the common button operations for measurements:

 Select/Change Application

Use the Calculator button on the control panel. Each time the Calculator button is

pressed, the application toggles in the order determined under Measure Setup. The

order in which applications appear can be specified at [F10] Application > Calc

Sequence.

 Menu A / Menu B

When there are a lot of measurement items (menus), they are divided into two menu

groups. Select them using the Flexible Soft button [1] or the Change button on the

control panel.

 Select Measurement Item

After moving the cursor by using the Trackball or the Menu / Angle dial-button on the

control panel, press the Set button or the Menu / Angle dial-button.

 Change Method

This menu can be selected by pressing the Flexible Soft button [1] Chg Method or

the Change button on the control panel. Once the measurement is started, the

selected measurement method cannot be changed.
