Chapter 3 Starting Diagnosis

Probes and Presets

Before starting a scan, select a probe and a preset.

Tap the Probe button on the touch panel, and the Probe screen will be displayed. From this screen you

can select or change the probe and the preset.

Tap the Probe button once more, or the Exit button on the screen, to exit from the screen without

applying any changes.

CAUTION: Refer to ‘Chapter 9. Probes’ for more information on probes and presets supported by

the system.

 Probe Screen

The Probe screen consists of the following items:

1 Probe list: Displays a list of probes currently connected to the system.

2 Preset list: Displays a list of presets that are supported by the selected probe.

3 User preset list: Displays the presets that you have congured in accordance with your

preferences.
