Chapter 4 Diagnosis Modes

 Adjusting Doppler Baseline

Tap the Baseline ‘+/-‘ buttons on the touch screen to adjust the Doppler baseline.

 PW Spectral Doppler Mode Menu

 Invert

Tap Invert on the touch screen. Tapping the button inverts ‘+ and -’, which indicate the velocity of

spectrum.

 Simul. (Simultaneous)

Tap Simul. on the touch screen. Each time you tap the button, the Simultaneous function turns

on or o. If the Simultaneous option is turned on, you can view real-time 2D and spectral Doppler

images at the same time. If the option is not turned on, however, you will only be able to view

the image from one of these modes. The Simultaneous function decreases Doppler PRF, thus

decreasing the measurable speed range.

 Wall Filter

Removes Clutter Signal. Tap the Wall Filter ‘+/-’ buttons to select O, L, M, or H.

 Sound

Adjusts the Doppler volume. Tap the Sound ’+/-’ buttons to select a value between 0 and 100.
