After removing the developer roller side

plate, remove the developer roller by pulling

the shaft through the area that was covered

by the stabilizer plate.

NOTE: Be sure to remove the developer

roller drive gear from the geared side of the

cartridge before sliding the roller out.

To remove the OPC, simply push it up

from the bottom of the cartridge and pull it

out the top. To maintain optimum print

quality and reliability, it is recommended to

change it out each cycle.

12. After removing the OPC, finish cleaning

the toner hopper area.

NOTE: Pay careful attention to the sponge

toner delivery roller in the toner hopper.

Manually rotate this roller during the

cleaning process to ensure that all of the old

toner is removed from the sponge roller.

13. You can clean any toner from the

working edge of the blade with a Q-tip.

NOTE:

It is

not

recommended to remove

the Doctor Blade during the remanufacturing

process. Removal can cause damage to the

sealing foams.
