 Entering & Exiting PW Spectral Doppler Mode

Tap the PW button on the touch screen. Tap the Update button on the touch screen to obtain a

spectral Doppler image.

NOTE: The Doppler image can only be obtained in the D Only or Simultaneous states.

 Sample Volume for PW Spectral Doppler Mode Screen

The Doppler spectrum is displayed when the Sample Volume is located above the blood ow on

the 2D image. The size of the Sample Volume is displayed in mm units. Select the sample volume

with your nger to adjust its position.

Moving Sample Volume: Select the sample volume of the study image to adjust its position.

Adjusting Sample Volume Angle: Tap the Angle button’s ‘+/-‘ buttons on the touch screen to

select an angle between -80 and 80 degrees. Alternatively, tap the Quick Angle button on the

touch screen to select a preset angle of -60, 0, or 60 degrees.

Resizing Sample Volume: Tap the '+/-' button of SV Size on the touch screen to select a setting

between 0.5mm and 15mm. Note that dierent probes provide dierent selectable ranges.
