Section 7: Photos and Video

This section explains how to use your device’s built-in camera

and camcorder as well as the Image Viewer and Gallery to

view and manage photos and videos.

Camera

Use your device’s built-in camera and camcorder to take

photos and record videos.

1. From a Home screen, touch

2. If a memory card is inserted, the first time you open the

camera the Storage location pop-up displays.Touch

OK

to change the storage location to memory card or touch

Cancel

to use the device storage for storing pictures and

videos.

Note:

If memory card storage is used, photos are stored in the /

storage/sdcard0/DCIM/Camera folder as jpg files. For

more information, refer to “My Files” on page 107.

Taking Photos

To take a photo:

1. From a Home screen, touch

2. Using the display as a viewfinder, compose your photo

by aiming the lens at the subject.
