@ Click the following button to open the “SHR-4080 Firmware” file in tgz format.
# Press the [Upgrade] button to transmit a file to the selected DVR(SHR-4080P)
and start upgrade of DVR(SHR-4080P) S/W.
$ The progress of file transmission and upgrade will be displayed at the bottom.

Note
The new Firmware necessary for DVR(SHR-4080P) S/W upgrade shall be down-
loaded from CCTV Part in Products Section at http://www.samsungelectronics.com.
Caution
Caution
Be sure to suspend all the DVR system functions in action such as recording, MENU,
backup, and play before you upgrade DVR(SHR-4080P) S/W.
Never try to turn the DVR(SHR-4080P) power off during such S/W upgrade.
S/W upgrade requires about 5 minutes.
If S/W upgrade is suspended accidentally, the previous S/W will be left intact.
